We were Incorporated first on July 16th, 1940 as Florala Water Works Board. On February 16th, 1949 the City sewer system was purchasd by the Florala Water Works Board. Our name was changed to Florala Water Works and Sewer Board. Since the board acquired the City Natural Gas Sysyem in 2004, we updated our Articles of Incorporation on January 15th, 2009 to include the operation of a natural gas system and changing our name to the Florala Utilties Board. We look forward to providing Florala citizens with quality water, sewer and natural gas services. (Gas where available).
